Less than 9 miles separate the top three competitors in the Vendée Globe after 20 days of racing, whilst Thomas Ruyant (VULNERABLE), in fourth place, is just 20 miles behind the leading trio as the fleet heads south and west towards the roaring 40s. Charlie Dalin (MACIF Santé Prévoyance), leader for the last 3,000 miles, is now second, just two miles behind Yoann Richomme (PAPREC ARKÉA). Sébastien Simon (Groupe Dubreuil) is in third place.
