In this second chapter of the “on-line” book ANCHORING A SAILBOAT we will deal with a fundamental component for anchoring safely, and that is the anchor chain; and we will do so by analyzing with what length of chain I should anchor (depending on the depth and weather), and how to size the anchor line that I should have on board in the chain box.
