Introduction

Any sailboat, and especially an ocean-going one, should have sufficient tools (pliers, screwdrivers, etc.) and spare parts on board to handle the main problems that might arise while sailing far from the coast.

Among the essential items to carry on a sailboat is a sailor’s knife. However, a typical multi-tool with multiple mini-tools won’t do on board.
