Esther and Aurelio are undertaking an “Almirante Cervera” circumnavigation—completed in stages—aboard their sailboat, *Tuvalu*, which is currently in Bundaberg, Australia. In Part II of this interview, they share how they planned their voyage around the world, their experiences with sailing and life on board so far, and the challenges that lie ahead.

Esther Tejedor and Aurelio Muñoz are currently undertaking an “Almirante Cervera Circumnavigation” (Vuelta al mundo Almirante Cervera)—completed in stages—aboard their sailboat, “Tuvalu.” The project required meticulous preparation of their vessel—a production-model 45-foot Beneteau Oceanis—for ocean sailing. They share their experience with us in this compelling interview (Part I).

After acquiring a Saltram Saga 36, a proven classic ocean-going yacht, Mara embarked on an extensive refit and preparation programme.
